Noted 1 cast. ------------- PHYSICAL EXAM FINDINGS ---------------- Mentation: BAR Temp (F): 102.6 Dehydration (%): 5 Heart rate: 160 Resp rate: 30 Neurologic: WNL Head/mouth/beak: NSF Ears: NSF Eyes: OU: Scabs over eyelids. Good PLRs. NSF. No stain uptake. Very visual. Wings: NSF Legs: NSF Feet: NSF Body: NSF Feather condition: In blood Ectoparasites: Buffalo gnat scabs. Radiographic findings: No fractures noted. Initial treatment: 40cc LRS SQ. A: Healthy branching owl with mild scabbing over both eyelids from buffalo gnats. Had large cast in belly last night and casted normally overnight. Parents are likely in area of school where it was found as baby came in with a full belly. Will contact finder to confirm parent sightings and plan for reunite.
